Pizza night!

Last night in Shasta was pizza night!

The gluten-free pizza, made by Louise! Gluten free crust topped with fresh grated mozzarella cheese (both smoked and regular) and goat cheese, artichoke hearts and fresh arugula. Yum!

My pizza – crispy crust topped with fresh grated mozzarella cheese and goat cheese, sauteed mushrooms, finely chopped artichoke hearts, basil from the garden, arugula, fresh figs and finished with a balsamic reduction. A lot going on, but it all worked together wonderfully. Our hosts were very pleased with our going away dinner. Rum cake and ice cream for desert? Yup! Oh and of course some dark chocolate to finish the night off.
