Last night in Shasta was pizza night!

My pizza – crispy crust topped with fresh grated mozzarella cheese and goat cheese, sauteed mushrooms, finely chopped artichoke hearts, basil from the garden, arugula, fresh figs and finished with a balsamic reduction. A lot going on, but it all worked together wonderfully. Our hosts were very pleased with our going away dinner. Rum cake and ice cream for desert? Yup! Oh and of course some dark chocolate to finish the night off.
