I intended on making a strawberry basil lime smoothie, but I opened my freezer and the strawberries were nowhere to be found. I think they ran off with my blueberries. Thankfully, I still had some lonely frozen mangoes left.
When I make smoothies, I don’t measure things out so these amounts are just guesses and probably a little off. I’ll try and measure next time…
1/2 cup frozen mango
4 basil leaves
1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
juice of 1/2 lime
1.5 cups almond milk
Directions: put all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth. If too thick, add some more almond milk or a splash of water.
Garnish with a slice of lime and some shredded coconut, if you please.
